ACT-ESL: About Us>Chesterfield County Public Schools
The Chesterfield County Public Schools (CCPS) as a Local Education Agency (LEA) of the ACT-ESL project is located in central Virginia and has the fourth largest school system in the state. In recent years, CCPS has undergone a marked change in student demographics. The documented number of LEP (Limited English Proficiency) students by Virginia Department of Education in CCPS has increased more than 6 times in the past ten years. The Chesterfield County Public School System is happy to participate in this innovative approach to training.
